At Signature Smiles, you can expect to be heard, respected, and treated as an individual. Dr. Deacy takes the time to explain your options, answer your questions, and help you choose the treatment approach that best fits your needs and goals. Her priority is making sure you feel comfortable, informed, and confident in every decision about your dental health.

You can expect to be with our team for around an hour and a half for your first visit. Dr. Deacy likes to gather as much information at this appointment as possible. You will meet the team and Dr. Deacy before any dental procedures or x-rays are completed. We want to understand your desires and goals before getting started. We will take all necessary x-rays, digital scans, and photos. Dr. Deacy will perform an exam that excompasses all areas impacting your dental and oral health. 

While there is no guarantee of being seen within a certain amount of time, we will work with you and your schedule to find the best and soonest time for you to have your necessary dental treatment completed. We understand you have a schedule and will work with you to find the best time to reserve your appointment with one of our hygienists or Dr. Deacy. 

In order to be sedated with Oral Conscious Sedation, you will need to have an appointment called a sedation evaluation. At this appointment we will do a deep dive into your health to make sure you are healthy enough to be safely sedated. In addition to this appointment, you are also required to have a physical or regular check-up with your primary care physician within one year of your appointment. This is required to ensure you are receiving customized treatment for your specific health needs. 

Signature Smiles sees patients of all ages (0-100+) and is committed to providing comprehensive dental care in one convenient location. Dr. Deacy has received advanced training in all areas of dentistry and has the ability and skill to take care of most dental problems. When specialized care is necessary, she will recommend the appropriate provider, but her goal is to help patients receive as much of their treatment as possible under one roof.

At Signature Smiles KC, we work with most dental insurance plans to help maximize your benefits. While Dr. Deacy is an out-of-network provider, many insurance plans still provide coverage for treatment.
